Battery-Operated System is a motorised system with raising and lowering functions for cellular blinds encapsulated within 24mm cavity double glazing units.

By using the keys on the remote transmitter or the buttons on the battery receiver, the motor installed at one corner of the headrail in double glazing is started and thus the mechanical mechanism moves.

Since it can completely obscure the room, due to its black-out feature, it is preferred where higher daylight control is desired.

Since it’s a double-sided fabric with a honeycomb shape, no cords or holes are visible. Only the fabric itself is visible.

Unlike conventional motorized systems, there is no need to make any wiring. Because of this there is also no need to use a circuit complementary contact in sliding joinery and the blind can be controlled even when the sliding joinery wing is open.

The battery receiver is pulled off its magnetically attached base and charged via a micro-USB battery charger, similar to charging a mobile phone. Once fully charged, it provides 3 to 6 months of use, depending on usage frequency.

As the motor is located inside the double glazing, the system operates very silent (<50db).

The system can be supplied either with warm edge or aluminum spacer bars according to demand.

The position of the cellular blind between insulated double glazing prevents any physical intervention. It also ensures that the blind is not dusted, contaminated, or affected by weather conditions. Thus, it does not require any maintenance and cleaning.
